Sponsor a Special Retreat for a Wounded Veteran

Coming Home Retreat

The Coming Home Project invites OIF and OEF veterans and family members to relax, restore, and reconnect with yourself and your loved ones. Single vets and wounded warriors welcome.

Includes lodging and meals and, depending on where you live, travel scholarships are available.

The Coming Home Project

The Coming Home Project is a non-profit organization devoted to providing compassionate care, support and stress management tools for Iraq and Afghanistan veterans and their families. We are a group of veterans, psychotherapists and interfaith leaders committed to helping transform the wounds of war. We help veterans and family members rebuild the connectivity of mind, heart, body and spirit that combat trauma can unravel; renew their relationships with loved ones; and create new support networks. We build a safe space - a community for veterans and their families to come together and share their stories, struggles and accomplishments. Single veterans are also most welcome.

All programs are free and confidential. Everyone is welcome as they are and all are treated with respect. The intention of the Coming Home Project is to serve veterans and families and contribute to their well-being and healing. There is no particular political or religious belief or affiliation that is represented or required.

Rebuild Hope Sponsorship

The number of veterans who want to attend the Coming Home Project retreats far exceeds this nonprofit's financial capacity so Rebuild Hope has agreed to seek donations to fund additional veterans. Donations for the retreats will fund only the direct costs associated with attending wounded veterans. For privacy reasons the names of recipients will NOT be published on Rebuild Hope unless a recipient offers to provide a testimonial.
