| Current Situation: | Jeremy spent a little over 8 years in the military. He participated in the initial invasion of Iraq in 2003 and later spent the majority of his service time training other soldiers. After his discharge he was employed as an operations manager but his PTSD symptoms eventually became so severe he could no longer work. Jeremy has taken advantage of both residential and out-patient PTSD treatment programs and is committed to reducing the impact of PTSD on his and his family's lives. His wife is scheduled to have two operations and is unable to work. While Jeremy currently receives no service-connected disability compensation from the Veterans Administration he expects a ruling on his claim by August 2010. Until then his family needs help with basic living expenses. |
