"While in Iraq conducting combat and political missions I've been shot at and engaged the enemy on multiple occasions. I was lucky not to lose any close friends during my year in Iraq but have lost several since then. We were mortared on a daily basis and every incoming shell felt it might be the one that struck you or a comrade."

| Current Situation: | Michael is relocating to a new job and city where he can rent an apartment for $400, less than half of what he pays now. He starts school in June on the GI Bill, expects to work part-time, and once he repairs his car, will avail himself of regular PTSD counseling at the VA. Michael needs help to fix his car and pay past due rent. |
